About Our Programs

Take Stock in Children, founded in 1995, has positively impacted over 2,000 students in Palm Beach County by providing essential academic support, mentorship, and guaranteed 2-year college scholarships to underserved youth. Since 2009, College for Kids has operated the Take Stock Palm Beach program, which focuses on early intervention for students in grades 6-9. In 2025, we expanded our efforts by launching a new initiative through College for Kids to serve underserved students in grades 10-12, focusing on nontraditional vocational certificates and pathways to success. Together, both programs offer comprehensive wraparound support, including tutoring, college readiness workshops, and vocational training, ensuring that under-resourced students are fully equipped to achieve their educational and career goals.
